Virtus.pro and NiP ease through

Virtus.pro (16-0 on de_mirage, 16-3 on de_cache against NetcodeGuides) and NiP (16-8 on de_nuke, 16-8 on de_cache vs. Manajuma) have won their matches and advanced through their respective parts of the bracket at ESEA Invite Season 16 Global Finals.

The side of the bracket containing Virtus.pro was delayed due to personal issues from Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski that we wrote about earlier, and as he finally arrived a day later than his teammates, the Polish team burst into play and ran over North American squad NetcodeGuides.com.

Snax made it to ESEA

Virtus.pro taught a lesson to the squad led by Pujan "FNS" Mehta on de_mirage, completely closing the map down on the CT side and then taking the pistol round for a 16-0 final score.

On de_cache they dropped the first round but quickly gained the upper hand and had another dominant performance that ended with a 16-3 victory.

Before that clash, Ninjas in Pyjamas had to commence their lower bracket run after being knocked down by compLexity yesterday, and their opponents were Manajuma who lost to Natus Vincere in today's opening match.

The other of two less experienced North American teams were unable to put up much of a fight against recently crowned DreamHack Summer champions, as they lost two times 16-8, first on de_nuke and then on de_cache.
